Blog Session 8: A subject you've enjoyed studying this semester.

Hi classmates and teacher.
Today I will talk about my favourite subject of this semester. My favourite subject of this term is "Social history of Latin America". This subject Is about the real historical events that has been occurred throughout the history of our continent. The teacher that dictate this subject is Carlos Ruiz, and he teaches the history through another perspective, pretending to tell to his students that the most typical and popular perspective or way of teaching this contents is terribly wrong. From this point on, the teacher starts developing the subject, teaching us contents since the times of the colony, and the multiple process of independence until the social and historical events that describes the current times. This contents are taught with a clear critical perspective, based on the fact that the "owners" and the ideological governors of the different countries, in most of cases, have been maintained through history. This critical perspective used to teach this interesting contents and also the teacher, are the main reasons why I have been chosen this subject as my favourite. 

Blog Session 7: My favourite food.

My favourite food is gnocchis with bolognese sauce and grated cheese. This is a traditional food from Italy and they are mainly made of potatoes, flour and ricotta cheese. Sometimes they are cooked with some vegetables like spinach. There are many different preparations but the dough is usually the same. 

Another important thing is the sauce. The gnocchis are usually accompanied with bolognese sauce, but it also can be accompanied with another type of sauces, like alfredo sauce. My favourite option is the bolognese sauce because I think that is the perfect balance between different flavours.

Blog Session 6: Post 2

Darío Montero is a chilean sociologist. He had studied sociology at the Universidad Católica, a master in public politics at the Erfurt University, and a sociology doctorate at the Friedrich Schiller University. He also studied a minor in philosophy at the Universidad Católica.

Nowadays he is a professor of the sociology department at the Universidad de Chile, in the career of sociology, where he dictate subjects of Social Philosophy and Sociological Theory, among others. Currently, he work as a research assistant at the Coes.

He also had dictated some sociological subjects at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Universidad Andrés Bello, Universidad Diego Portales and Friedrich Schiller University.

Blog Session 5: A photograph you like.

At the moment I chose this photo I couldn't found some information about the person who took this picture and was capable of capturing this wonderful moment, but the only thing that I can assure is that this person is definitely a hero.
This piece of art, shows us a man called Luis Jara,  making a face that probably means total exit. He is considered as the best singer in Chile, and one of the five most popular singer in the world because of his incredible vocal capacity. I neither could found the date of the photo, but I will take some risks and assure that this picture was taken in the daytime show called "Mucho Gusto", at a random moment of this year.
Finally, I chose this picture because I think he is the best singer in the world and at the moment I saw this photo, I instantly loved it.

Blog Session 3: My favourite piece of technology

My favourite piece of technology is the bike. I´ve got my first bike when I was six years old. In the process of growing up, I have had different bikes according to my age and height. I have my actual bike since 2017´s winter. I bought it because my previous bike was stolen while I was giving a PSU essay. After this event (that I wanted to thought it was a nightmare), I was devastated and very sad, but afortunately now I´m very happy with my actual bike.
This amazing piece of technology, can be used as a mean of transport and it´s also the principal element of a beautiful sport called cycling. I use my bike for both purposes. I use it every day as a mean of transport, and sometimes I go to a hill.
I can´t imagine life without bikes because I think that this vehicle is a very powerful tool to fight against the sedentarism, ambient pollution, traffic jams, etc, and also because I think that every person has the right of feeling the wonderful sensation that can be experimented when you ride a bike.

I ride my bike every day and I enjoy playing football.                                                                           
In my free time I usually hang out with my friends and listen to some music to relax myself.
